In 1931 something happened called the great depression. It made a lot of people lose their jobs. The girl’s pop had to go out of town because of the great depression. Then the kids next door started playing baseball and she ask can I play? Then they laughed and said girls can’t play baseball. Then she went inside and then someone came and gave her a ticket to a baseball game and there was going to be a girl pitching. Next when she went to the game she made a bet with the kid that was next door. He said that the girl could not strike out Babe Ruth. It ended up she was actually pretty good at baseball.

In the activity that I just did about the British taxes. I learned that the taxes that the British had to pay that they didn’t have a choice about the taxes that they had to pay. In the tea act the had to raise the taxes because they had to raise enough money so that they could pay for all the tea that they threw overboard. When we payed the taxes we didn’t have choice about what we pay. When we had to pay what the king told us to we didn’t have a choice but to pay the tax and if we didn’t have have enough money to pay the tax then we had to give all of our money. Some people payed all of their money on taxes. What i learned is that the British didn’t have a choice on the taxes that they payed.

In 2014 I made all stars. We won state and in state it took 3 or 4 days for the tournament to end. We made it to the championship. We played two championship games because Union Grove all star team lose a game,in the whole tournament.We beat Union Grove both games. Then a couple days later we ha to play West Rusk in nationals. We had had to play three games. They beat us the first game and we beat them the second and third game. After Gavin scored the last point in the third game we ran out of the dougout cheering. It was time for the trophies but we didn’t get get trophies we got this big plack. I hope we win state in 2015 again .
