State Rundown

It was two years ago when we were celebrating our state party for baseball. I remember it like yesterday.
We started playing a game called rundown. We were picking the throwers, and the runners. We started.
The throwers started throwing the ball back and forth. When they were throwing the ball, you could hear it hitting the glove. Pop, pop, pop, as it kept hitting the glove. When they threw it behind me, I ran for the bag. Then they threw it in front of me once more. I went for the other bag, but this time I wasn’t turning around. I was almost to the bag and I slid. Since we were wet, because we were swimming, we could slide far and fast. He got the ball while I was sliding. He tagged me and yelled, “You’re Out!” After it was over we got the grass off of our stomach by getting in the pool. The grass was really itchy.
We dried off and refreshed for a minute. After our break, we played again.
Two years ago we won state, and had a party. When the party was over I inherited it is better to go with what they call than to argue with it.

Never Alone

Melody wasn’t feeling too good.

Her fish jumped out of the bowl.

She couldn’t yell.

She couldn’t do anything.

All she could do was sit there

and watch her fish die.

All the fish wanted

was some freedom just

like Melody.

When the fish jumped out of the bowl,

he couldn’t make

it on his own.

Melody will always

need someone there

by her side to help with everyday tasks.

Melody’s mom

knows that she

will always need help.

Melody’s mom doesn’t know she feels depressed

because she can’t do things by herself.

Melody doesn’t feel well.
